Stewardship should be celebrated because it is not about what stewards do or about what they decide to give. Stewardship is about the free and joyous activity of God’s family — the church — in managing life’s resources for His purposes.
This celebration of stewardship begins with repentance. Forgiven and restored, stewards are then freed from the fear of losing and can celebrate the work of God who gives the gifts to be stewarded.
