In this Life Together Digest, the Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), highlights the importance of Christian education and gives thanks for the schools and teachers across the Synod.
He also encourages the church to pray for and thank teachers and all other church workers during October, when the LCMS celebrates Church Worker Appreciation Month.
“We thank God for teachers and all church workers, and encourage children to think about church work, too,” said Harrison.
