LCMS Worship resources

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod produces monthly worship planning resources, including Three-Year Series prayers, One-Year Series prayers, lectionary summaries, hymn suggestions and more.

Resources for Trinity Sunday

Confess the Athanasian Creed — Are you reciting the Athanasian Creed (LSB p. 319) on Trinity Sunday? How about reciting it responsively? How about singing it? Find the Athanasian Creed in these and other formats, reproducible for congregational use.

Sing the Te Deum — Did you know that Martin Luther composed a setting of the Te Deum Laudamus? Adapted as a hymn from its original tune, Luther’s Te Deum is designed to be sung responsively between two groups — the perfect challenge for students at Lutheran schools. You may have heard it sung at the LCMS International Center’s daily chapel. By popular request, we’re making this complete version available to the church.

Prayers of the Church

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod provides prayers for congregations to use in worship services. Both responsive and ektene prayer forms are provided for most days.
