This issue of So Help Me God, the newsletter of LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces, takes on a broad subject: suffering. Suffering is a part of life for everyone — but in the Christian life, we rejoice that Jesus redeems us and all our suffering through His death and resurrection. By His Word, He gives us peace which transcends all understanding (Phil. 4:7), and at the last day, He will wipe every tear from our eyes (Rev. 21:4).
