In this Life Together Digest, the Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), reflects on the hope of the resurrection that Christians have in Christ this Eastertide.
“We are His creation. And the promise of resurrection is just like Jesus’ resurrection: We shall rise from the grave just like Jesus rose from the grave,” said Harrison.
Reflecting on 1 Corinthians 15, Harrison continued: “Christ’s resurrection is connected directly to our resurrection, and vice versa. Thanks be to God, our Lord Christ is risen, and He’s risen for you.”
