In the July 2018 issue of StewardCAST, LCMS Stewardship shares insight into the stewardship lesson that time teaches. Attempts to hoard time and thereby be poor stewards reveal the folly in how some individuals view stewardship. Since we do not own time, we get frustrated and are miserable because we run out of time.
The faithful steward seeks to view all of life and its resources as a gift from God to be stewarded in the way that time is stewarded. Everything they are and have is to be used for the purposes of the Gospel and should not be hoarded and held back for their selfish desires. Using all the gifts from God in the way He intended them to be used allows amazing things to be done.
