The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s (LCMS) members were among the hundreds of thousands of participants in the 2017 March for Life on Jan. 27 in Washington, D.C. The 44th annual event seeks to change hearts and minds, save lives and build a culture of life.

Hundreds of LCMS Christians marched while singing hymns, carrying large signs promoting the #eyesoflife campaign and its website eyesoflife.org, and wearing distinctive lime-green hats.

The LCMS Life Conference, with the theme “Life 360◦,” was held in nearby Arlington, Va., from Jan. 27-29. Attendees gathered Friday morning for a Divine Service at The Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel, and afterward they joined in the march.
