In the August 2016 issue of StewardCAST, LCMS Stewardship Ministry shares that the first step to embracing a stewardship of life is recognizing our dependence upon the Lord and our interdependence with the world.
God’s stewards are called to see all of creation as a gift, allowing them to be totally “other” centered.
This call, therefore, enables the pastor and the people to assemble around the Gospel so that they are fed and filled with the Gospel and then can share the life that the Gospel gives with those around them.
And when this happens, stewardship is no longer about money but about life.
