Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, president of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, encourages the Synod’s teachers and asks the church to pray for them, care for them and continue to support Lutheran education. “Thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do for students during this difficult year,” Harrison says to teachers at all levels. “I’ve seen the fatigue on your faces. I’ve heard the frustration and uncertainty in your voices … . I want you to know: God in Christ is for you” — now and always.
