As we bring Christ to the nations, we do so always mindful of His command to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19-20).
In the April 2019 edition of Life Together, LCMS President Matthew Harrison highlights a new initiative in the LCMS Office of National Mission called “Making Disciples for Life.”
This initiative focuses on how, by way of baptizing and teaching, we make disciples for life when we evangelize the lost, retain the faithful, strengthen congregations and plant new churches.
Together, let’s learn more about the beauty that is found in holding fast — for life — to all that Jesus has taught His people.
