This tradition certainly will be one of many short-term casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, even though the fate of the offering plate is still in question, the generosity of God’s people is not.
The worship aspect of faithful stewardship will return as congregations take a very intentional approach to show people who God made them to be and who Jesus has redeemed them to be for the sake of the Gospel.
