In the April 2017 issue of StewardCAST, LCMS Stewardship Ministry addresses some of the questions that stewardship leaders might ask when they are contacted to consult with a congregation on stewardship matters.
These questions are not limited to being asked by consultants, though. Pastors and stewardship committee members can freely ask them of themselves and find great benefit in their answers.
Such questions include, “Is the congregation’s stewardship about the Bible or the bills?” and “Does the congregation take seriously how counter-cultural stewardship is?”
