LCMS Worship provides hymn suggestions for Series C to use during the 2018-19 church year.
In the Lutheran church, hymns are not fillers in the liturgy — they are an integral part of proclaiming the Word of God and the primary way the royal priesthood joins in declaring the wonders of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
The suggested hymns are offered with the intent that God’s people may hear the Word as proclaimed in the readings and the sermon while joining the proclamation of each Sunday or feast.
Unless otherwise indicated, hymns are from Lutheran Service Book.
