In the July 2017 issue of StewardCAST, LCMS Stewardship Ministry discusses the connection between freedom and stewardship. God has in Christ set His children free from the burden of sin so they can be the faithful stewards of the freedom that is given in the Gospel.
The cost of this stewardship might be great, but it is what the Christian steward is called to do. As stewards of this freedom, we are to be faithful in our stewardship for the sake of the Lord and for our neighbor.
