Christ told us that we would face troubles in this world, but we also know that He has overcome them (John 16:33).
Individuals in Lutheran congregations who are living out their faith in word and deed are great examples of how worldly troubles are “overcome.”
Read the summer issue of TimeLine newsletter to discover stories of such individuals (and their congregations) that illustrate the power of faith when sharing the Gospel in this difficult world.
LCMS Black Ministry welcomes articles highlighting events, programs, activities, mission and “best practices” to share with other LCMS congregations in TimeLine. Please send your articles to the Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Gray Jr. at firstname.lastname@example.org by Aug. 30 for the next newsletter.
