Lutheran Early Response Teams (LERT), a program of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, has a new website — lcms-lert.org — to facilitate the work of LCMS Disaster Response volunteers at the local and national level.
LERT is a network of volunteers who are organized at the district level and trained to deploy rapidly in the event of a disaster. The volunteers offer material and spiritual support to those who have been affected by disasters.
