Deuteronomy 8:3 — “… that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.”
The flip side to this statement is what Jesus told us about worrying in Matthew 6: Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. When we put things in the right order — God, His Kingdom, and His Word first — everything else falls into place.
