‘Free to be Faithful’ – Summer 2021 newsletter

LCMS Free to be Faithful Newsletter - Summer 2021

The Free to be Faithful® newsletter highlights important and relevant details on religious liberty issues that impact the rights of Christians to live faithfully.

In the summer issue, read:

  • A lawsuit filed by an LGBT group that seeks to strip federal financial aid from college students for attending faith-based universities that espouse biblical beliefs on marriage, gender and sexuality;
  • Critical race theory from a Lutheran perspective;
  • A case going to the U.S. Supreme Court over Mississippi’s Gestational Age Act, which protects pregnant mothers and unborn children by limiting abortions after 15 weeks; and
  • A lawsuit against the dean of the Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland and a Member of Parliament over the publication of a 2004 pamphlet espousing Lutheran views on sexuality and marriage.

Information from this newsletter can be reproduced for your congregation’s use.
