Summer 2018: This issue of the Parish Nurse Newsletter provides information and insight about handling times of transition in life — whether your own or when caring for others.
In addition, read insights from parish nurses and a pastor that provide guidance on various aspects of ministry for parish nurses around the world.
The newsletter also includes:
- The story of Debbie Hammen and Dottie Simon, two parish nurses serving Hurricane Harvey victims in and around Port Arthur, Texas;
- A personal story from a parish nurse about how she walked through changes that happened in her life; and
- Educational opportunities for parish nurses serving across the globe.
The Lord bless your ministry,
Dr. Marcia (Marcy) Schnorr and Karen Hardecopf

P.S. Lutheran Parish Nurses International has an annual study tour that provides an opportunity for parish nurses and others from around the world to learn, network and share experiences with other like-minded people. Groups travel to countries that have either an active parish nurse ministry or an interest in learning more about Lutheran parish nursing. The Sept. 13-30, 2018, study tour will travel to Canada, and the 2019 study tour will travel to Singapore. More information is available at lpni.org.
