‘Lifemark’ Resources

From actor Kirk Cameron and the Kendrick brothers comes a new inspirational movie called “Lifemark.” The film tells the true story of a young man named David, who was adopted as an infant and later meets his birth parents when he is 18 years old. The film engages the subject of adoption from the perspectives of the adopted child, the adoptive parents and the biological parents — all of whom are faced with potential challenges and joys through the adoption process.

LCMS Life Ministry has prepared several resources for individuals, families, high school groups and others who are interested in watching the film. The resources are meant to help viewers examine the movie’s themes — adoption, family, identity, forgiveness, the precious gift of life and more — from a Lutheran perspective.
