Whether it is to people within our walls or others in the community, we are to extend the hand of Christian fellowship so that others might know the love of Christ.
Putting this into practice is often quite difficult. Kollbaum, director of LCMS Rural & Small Town Mission and pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison, Neb., shared ideas for how congregations and members can welcome others.
As St. Paul says in Romans 15:7, “Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”
