Based on the theme “Christian Questions with Their Answers” drawn from Luther’s Small Catechism, LCMS Worship provides suggestions for liturgy, psalms, readings, hymns and collects to use during 2023 midweek Lenten services.
The following propers can be used for the offices of Vespers, Evening Prayer or for the Divine Service. Ash Wednesday is its own day, with possible preaching themes and handles provided. Communion hymns are provided for those observing the Divine Service.
The Christian Questions with Their Answers (CQ/A) from Luther’s Small Catechism provide a wealth of teaching for those desiring to come to the Lord’s feast for forgiveness and the strengthening of faith.
